Recently we have seen the release of new wireless PowerPoint Presentation remotes by Logitech and Afterglow to aid the presenters in giving slick and professional presentations.

The R400 and R800 by Logitech allow the user to flick from slide to slide wirelessly and point using a red and green laser respectively. As well as offering a green laser beam the R800 has an LCD display to inform the user of battery life, time alerts and wireless reception. It also has an impressive 100ft range whilst the R400 only has the option of a red laser, 50ft range and no LCD display, but is the more affordable option. Both remotes will allow presentations to flow seamlessly, increasing the professionalism of the experience, it also allows the presenter to communicate what they mean more effectively by pulling out information and drawing attention to specific points of the slide via the laser.

However, despite all that the Logitech remotes offer, the Afterglow option is the next step up in PowerPoint Presentation remotes. The Afterglow technology uses a camera to record the motion of the laser pointer to allow it to act like a mouse, as well as allowing the pointer to act as a drawing tool, meaning the user can control the slides as well as annotate and draw upon them. It enables the presentation to have much more impact and memorability, and, if giving presentations is at the core of your business, the Afterglow remote must have.
