Article 10 talks to The Times about their unique approach in choosing their new recruits. Rather than the usual gruelling interview process, Lyndon Nicholson (co-founder of Article 10) explains the tasks he sets in order to really get to know the potential employee.
Article 10 is a young and trendy presentations design company, also made up of a number of other divisions including, events, integrated marketing and word templates. The team involves
highly specialist individuals who work under each sector. In addition, the company like to offer graduates looking for design work full time jobs in order to mix with the creative team, learning off their well established skills and gaining themselves experience.
Therefore Article 10 believe it is important for new recruits to fit into the teams young and active working environment. Their approach "ensures that the new person is absorbed into the team as fast as possible" explains Lyndon Nicholson. He continues to discuss the importance of this stating, 'we want to get a handle on them (the interviewee) as a person'...sober as well as drunk!
